- The balance of the agreed fee shall be paid to Voracious Music at least 14 days prior
to the function date.
- The agreement fee is firm and shall not be subject to any variation except that in the event of
change in the clients/hirer requirements a revised fee may be determined by negotiation between
the client and Voracious Music.
- The client/hirer may ask the DJ to stay past the original finish time specified for the playing music.
If this is the case a minimum of $55 per hour or part thereof the hour will be charged and needs to
be paid at the start of the extension time.
- Cancellation of the booking shall be notified by the client/hirer to Voracious Music in
writing and posted in sufficient time to be received by Voracious Music no less than
thirty (30) days prior to the day of engagement.
- The deposit is non-refundable in accordance with condition
- In the event of the booking being cancelled less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of the
engagement then the client/hirer will forfeit the deposit and Voracious Music reserves
the right to claim the total amount of the fee should an alternative engagement for the artist/DJ on
the date not be arranged.
- It is the responsibility of the client/hirer to provide a non-vibrating surface for the Disc Jockeys
console. Relocation of the console during an event causing an interruption of the music will not
qualify the client for a fee reduction.
- It is the responsibility of the client/hirer to provide adequate protection for the artist’s/DJ’s.
- Equipment and shall provide a safe, properly constructed and sheltered area for each Performance
- Conveying vehicle against unauthorised interference or removal of any of the artist’s equipment
from the time of the artist’s arrival at the venue to the completion of the engagement. The
engagement is not deemed to be complete until removal of the equipment within a reasonable time
by the artist’s/DJ in the case of a two day consecutive event at the same venue with the same
client/hirer, the client will be responsible for the protection of the artist’s equipment and vehicle
and should any damage or theft occur the client/hirer will be responsible.
- It will be the client/hirer’s responsibility to monitor the behaviour of the patrons at the venue.
- Voracious Music undertakes to provide an artist/DJ from Voracious Music in
the event of illness, accident or any unforeseen circumstance that the agreed performer cannot
work Voracious Music reserves the right to provide a substitute performer/artist. Should a
substitute artist not be available within Voracious Music it is agreed that the job can be
subcontracted to another performer/artist or Jukebox.
- It is agreed and declared that any person signing for on behalf of the client/hirer warrants his/her
authority to do so and accepts personal responsibility and liability for the payment of all monies
and the due observance by the client/hirer of all terms and obligations under this Agreement on the
part of the hirer.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT NON RETURN OF THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE
CANCELLATION OR NON ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN.
